Daniel 1:8

1:8 But Daniel made up his mind¹ that he would not defile² himself with the royal delicacies or the royal wine.³ He therefore asked the overseer of the court officials for permission not to defile himself.

Daniel 2:29

2:29 “As for you, O king, while you were in your bed your thoughts turned to future things.⁴ The revealer of mysteries has made known to you what will take place.

Daniel 2:49

2:49 And at Daniel’s request, the king⁵ appointed Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego over the administration of the province of Babylon. Daniel himself served in the king’s court.⁶

Daniel 4:26

4:26 They said to leave the taproot of the tree, for your kingdom will be restored to you when you come to understand that heaven⁷ rules.

Daniel 6:2

6:2 Over them would be three supervisors, one of whom was Daniel. These satraps were accountable⁸ to them, so that the king’s interests might not incur damage.

6:25 Then King Darius wrote to all the peoples, nations, and language groups who were living in all the land: “Peace and prosperity!⁹

Daniel 6:27

6:27 He rescues and delivers

and performs signs and wonders

in the heavens and on the earth.

He has rescued Daniel from the power¹⁰ of the lions!”

Daniel 7:11

7:11 “Then I kept on watching because of the arrogant words of the horn that was speaking. I was watching¹¹ until the beast was killed and its body destroyed and thrown into¹² the flaming fire.

Daniel 8:12

8:12 The army was given over,¹³ along with the daily sacrifice, in the course of his sinful rebellion.¹⁴ It hurled¹⁵ truth¹⁶ to the ground and enjoyed success.¹⁷

Daniel 11:28

11:28 Then the king of the north¹⁸ will return to his own land with much property. His mind will be set against the holy covenant. He will take action, and then return to his own land.
