An Appeal to God as Witness
16:18 “O earth, do not cover my blood, 1
nor let there be a secret 2 place for my cry.
Lukas 11:50-51
11:50 so that this generation may be held accountable
3 for the blood of all the prophets that has been shed since the beginning
4 of the world,

11:51 from the blood of Abel
6 to the blood of Zechariah,
7 who was killed
8 between the altar and the sanctuary.
9 Yes, I tell you, it will be charged against
10 this generation.
