Ayub 2:8

2:8 Job took a shard of broken pottery to scrape himself with while he was sitting among the ashes.

Ayub 5:13

5:13 He catches the wise in their own craftiness,

and the counsel of the cunning is brought to a quick end.

15:25 for he stretches out his hand against God,

and vaunts himself 10  against the Almighty,

15:31 Let him not trust in what is worthless, 11 

deceiving himself;

for worthlessness will be his reward. 12

16:5 But 13  I would strengthen 14  you with my words; 15 

comfort from my lips would bring 16  you relief.

20:14 his food is turned sour 17  in his stomach; 18 

it becomes the venom of serpents 19  within him.

Ayub 20:20

20:20 For he knows no satisfaction in his appetite; 20 

he does not let anything he desires 21  escape. 22 

Ayub 24:16

24:16 In the dark the robber 23  breaks into houses, 24 

but by day they shut themselves in; 25 

they do not know the light. 26 

Ayub 25:4

25:4 How then can a human being be righteous before God?

How can one born of a woman be pure? 27 

Ayub 27:10

27:10 Will he find delight 28  in the Almighty?

Will he call out to God at all times?

Ayub 29:8

29:8 the young men would see me and step aside, 29 

and the old men would get up and remain standing;

Ayub 32:16

32:16 And I have waited. 30  But because they do not speak,

because they stand there and answer no more,

Ayub 34:14

34:14 If God 31  were to set his heart on it, 32 

and gather in his spirit and his breath,
