10:19 When words abound, transgression is inevitable, 17
but the one who restrains 18 his words 19 is wise.

but what the wicked think 23 is of little value. 24
10:21 The teaching 25 of the righteous feeds 26 many,
but fools die 27 for lack of wisdom. 28

10:23 Carrying out a wicked scheme 34 is enjoyable 35 to a fool,
and so is wisdom for the one who has discernment. 36
10:24 What the wicked fears 37 will come on him;
what the righteous desire 38 will be granted. 39
10:25 When the storm 40 passes through, the wicked are swept away, 41
but the righteous are an everlasting foundation. 42
10:26 Like vinegar to the teeth and like smoke to the eyes, 43
so is the sluggard to those 44 who send him.
10:27 Fearing the Lord 45 prolongs life, 46
but the life span 47 of the wicked will be shortened. 48
10:28 The hope 49 of the righteous is joy,
but the expectation of the wicked will remain unfulfilled. 50

but it is destruction 54 to evildoers. 55
10:30 The righteous will never be moved,
but the wicked will not inhabit the land. 56
10:31 The speech 57 of the righteous bears the fruit of wisdom, 58
but the one who speaks perversion 59 will be destroyed. 60
10:32 The lips of the righteous know 61 what is pleasing, 62
but the speech 63 of the wicked is perverse.
