8:26 Ahaziah was twenty-two years old when he became king and he reigned for one year in Jerusalem.
1 His mother was Athaliah, the granddaughter
2 of King Omri of Israel.

9:27 When King Ahaziah of Judah saw what happened, he took off 3 up the road to Beth Haggan. Jehu chased him and ordered, “Shoot him too.” They shot him while he was driving his chariot up the ascent of Gur near Ibleam. 4 He fled to Megiddo 5 and died there.
