Yesaya 23:13

23:13 Look at the land of the Chaldeans,

these people who have lost their identity! ¹ 

The Assyrians have made it a home for wild animals.

They erected their siege towers, ² 

demolished ³  its fortresses,

and turned it into a heap of ruins. ⁴ 

Yesaya 37:12

37:12 Were the nations whom my predecessors ⁵  destroyed – the nations of Gozan, Haran, Rezeph, and the people of Eden in Telassar – rescued by their gods? ⁶ 

Yesaya 48:19

48:19 Your descendants would have been as numerous as sand, ⁷ 

and your children ⁸  like its granules.

Their name would not have been cut off

and eliminated from my presence. ⁹
