Kejadian 3:7

3:7 Then the eyes of both of them opened, and they knew they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves.

Kejadian 34:17

34:17 But if you do not agree to our terms by being circumcised, then we will take our sister and depart.”

Kejadian 41:42

41:42 Then Pharaoh took his signet ring from his own hand and put it on Joseph’s. He clothed him with fine linen clothes and put a gold chain around his neck.

tn Heb “listen to us.”

tn The perfect verbal form with the vav (ו) consecutive introduces the apodosis of the conditional sentence.

tn Heb “daughter.” Jacob’s sons call Dinah their daughter, even though she was their sister (see v. 8). This has been translated as “sister” for clarity.

tn The Hebrew word שֵׁשׁ (shesh) is an Egyptian loanword that describes the fine linen robes that Egyptian royalty wore. The clothing signified Joseph’s rank.
