Imamat 6:2

6:2 “When a person sins and commits a trespass ¹  against the Lord by deceiving his fellow citizen ²  in regard to something held in trust, or a pledge, or something stolen, or by extorting something from his fellow citizen, ³ 

Yeremia 5:11

5:11 For the nations of Israel and Judah ⁴ 

have been very unfaithful to me,”

Hosea 4:12

4:12 They consult their wooden idols,

and their diviner’s staff answers with an oracle.

The wind of prostitution blows them astray;

they commit spiritual adultery ⁵  against their God.
