Judges 2:7

2:7 The people worshiped ¹  the Lord throughout Joshua’s lifetime and as long as the elderly men ²  who outlived him remained alive. These men had witnessed ³  all the great things the Lord had done for Israel. ⁴ 

Judges 12:9

12:9 He had thirty sons. He arranged for thirty of his daughters to be married outside his extended family, ⁵  and he arranged for thirty young women to be brought from outside as wives for his sons. ⁶  Ibzan ⁷  led ⁸  Israel for seven years;

Judges 16:13

16:13 Delilah said to Samson, “Up to now you have deceived me and told me lies. Tell me how you can be subdued.” He said to her, “If you weave the seven braids of my hair ⁹  into the fabric on the loom ¹⁰  and secure it with the pin, I will become weak and be like any other man.”

Judges 16:28

16:28 Samson called to the Lord, “O Master, Lord, ¹¹  remember me! Strengthen me just one more time, O God, so I can get swift revenge ¹²  against the Philistines for my two eyes!”

Judges 18:9

18:9 They said, “Come on, let’s attack them, ¹³  for ¹⁴  we saw their land and it is very good. You seem lethargic, ¹⁵  but don’t hesitate ¹⁶  to invade and conquer ¹⁷  the land.

Judges 19:9

19:9 When the man got ready to leave ¹⁸  with his concubine and his servant, ¹⁹  his father-in-law, the girl’s father, said to him, “Look! The day is almost over! ²⁰  Stay another night! Since the day is over, ²¹  stay another night here and have a good time. You can get up early tomorrow and start your trip home.” ²² 

Judges 19:24

19:24 Here are my virgin daughter and my guest’s ²³  concubine. I will send them out and you can abuse them and do to them whatever you like. ²⁴  But don’t do such a disgraceful thing to this man!”

Judges 20:33

20:33 ²⁵  All the men of Israel got up from their places and took their positions at Baal Tamar, while the Israelites hiding in ambush jumped out of their places west of Gibeah.

Judges 20:48

20:48 The Israelites returned to the Benjaminite towns ²⁶  and put the sword to them. They wiped out the cities, ²⁷  the animals, and everything they could find. They set fire to every city in their path. ²⁸
