Daniel 2:6

2:6 But if you can disclose the dream and its interpretation, you will receive from me gifts, a reward, and considerable honor. So disclose to me the dream and its interpretation!”

Daniel 5:9

5:9 Then King Belshazzar was very terrified, and he was visibly shaken. His nobles were completely dumbfounded.

Daniel 2:45

2:45 You saw that a stone was cut from a mountain, but not by human hands; it smashed the iron, bronze, clay, silver, and gold into pieces. The great God has made known to the king what will occur in the future. The dream is certain, and its interpretation is reliable.”

Daniel 12:1

12:1 “At that time Michael,

the great prince who watches over your people,

will arise.

There will be a time of distress

unlike any other from the nation’s beginning

up to that time.

But at that time your own people,

all those whose names are found written in the book,

will escape.

Daniel 4:36

4:36 At that time my sanity returned to me. I was restored to the honor of my kingdom, and my splendor returned to me. My ministers and my nobles were seeking me out, and I was reinstated over my kingdom. I became even greater than before.

tn Aram “his visage altered upon him.” So also in v. 10.

tn Aram “after this.”

tn Heb “stands over the sons of your people.”

tn Heb “will stand up.”

tn Or “from the beginning of a nation.”

tn The words “whose names are” are added in the translation for stylistic reasons and for clarification.

tc The translation reads הַדְרֵת (hadret, “I returned”) rather than the MT הַדְרִי (hadri, “my honor”); cf. Theodotion.

tc The translation reads הָתְקְנֵת (hotqÿnet, “I was established”) rather than the MT הָתְקְנַת (hotqÿnat, “it was established”). As it stands, the MT makes no sense here.
