Bilangan 10:33

10:33 So they traveled from the mountain of the Lord three days’ journey; and the ark of the covenant of the Lord was traveling before them during the three days’ journey, to find a resting place for them.

Bilangan 21:25

21:25 So Israel took all these cities; and Israel settled in all the cities of the Amorites, in Heshbon, and in all its villages.

Bilangan 24:20

Balaam’s Final Prophecies

24:20 Then Balaam looked on Amalek and delivered this oracle:

“Amalek was the first of the nations,

but his end will be that he will perish.”

tn The phrase “a journey of three days” is made up of the adverbial accusative qualified with the genitives.

tn Heb “its daughters.”

tn Heb “he”; the referent (Balaam) has been specified in the translation for clarity.

tn Heb “and he lifted up his oracle and said.” So also in vv. 21, 23.

sn This probably means that it held first place, or it thought that it was “the first of the nations.” It was not the first, either in order or greatness.
