4:43 But his attendant said, “How can I feed a hundred men with this?” ¹  He replied, “Set it before the people so they may eat, for this is what the Lord says, ‘They will eat and have some left over.’” ² 

2 Raja-raja 5:12

5:12 The rivers of Damascus, the Abana and Pharpar, are better than any of the waters of Israel! ³  Could I not wash in them and be healed?” So he turned around and went away angry.

¹ tn Heb “How can I set this before a hundred men?”

² tn The verb forms are infinitives absolute (Heb “eating and leaving over”) and have to be translated in light of the context.

³ tn Heb “Are not Abana and Pharpar, the rivers of Damascus, better than all of the waters of Israel?” The rhetorical question expects an emphatic “yes” as an answer.
