2 Korintus 4:10

4:10 always carrying around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be made visible in our body.

2 Korintus 5:6

5:6 Therefore we are always full of courage, and we know that as long as we are alive here on earth we are absent from the Lord –

2 Korintus 5:18

5:18 And all these things are from God who reconciled us to himself through Christ, and who has given us the ministry of reconciliation.

2 Korintus 10:10

10:10 because some say, “His letters are weighty and forceful, but his physical presence is weak and his speech is of no account.”

2 Korintus 12:16

12:16 But be that as it may, I have not burdened you. Yet because I was a crafty person, I took you in by deceit!

tn The first clause of 2 Cor 4:10 is elliptical and apparently refers to the fact that Paul was constantly in danger of dying in the same way Jesus died (by violence at least). According to L&N 23.99 it could be translated, “at all times we live in the constant threat of being killed as Jesus was.”

tn Or “may also be revealed.”

tn Grk “we know that being at home in the body”; an idiom for being alive (L&N 23.91).

tn Or “unimpressive.”

tn Or “is contemptible”; Grk “is despised.”
