7:10 As Samuel was offering burnt offerings, the Philistines approached to do battle with Israel. 1 But on that day the Lord thundered loudly against the Philistines. He caused them to panic, and they were defeated by 2 Israel.
11:11 The next day Saul placed the people in three groups. They went to the Ammonite camp during the morning watch and struck them 3 down until the hottest part of the day. The survivors scattered; no two of them remained together.
29:3 The leaders of the Philistines asked, “What about these Hebrews?” Achish said to the leaders of the Philistines, “Isn’t this David, the servant of King Saul of Israel, who has been with me for quite some time? 8 I have found no fault with him from the day of his defection until the present time!” 9
