Dengan panjang lebar dan secara terperinci si Muwarikh berceritera mengenai perayaan Paskah yang hanya tersinggung dalam 2Ra 23:21. Upacara dilangsungkan sesuai dengan tata upacara yang termaktub dalam Ula 16, tetapi ada beberapa tambahan yang agaknya diambil si Muwarikh dari tata upacara yang berlaku di zamannya sendiri. Orang-orang Lewi memegang peranan utama dalam upacara ini. Korban Paskah di sini disertai korban bakaran dan korban-korban keselamatan (bdk lembu-lembu dalam 2Ta 35:7,8,9; lihat 2Ta 35:12,14,16).
