36:25 Elnatan, Delaya dan Gemarya memang mendesak kepada raja, supaya jangan membakar gulungan itu, tetapi raja tidak mendengarkan mereka. 36:26 Bahkan raja memerintahkan pangeran Yerahmeel, Seraya bin Azriel dan Selemya bin Abdeel untuk menangkap juru tulis Barukh dan nabi Yeremia, tetapi TUHAN menyembunyikan mereka. 36:27 Sesudah raja membakar gulungan berisi perkataan-perkataan yang dituliskan oleh Barukh langsung dari mulut Yeremia itu, maka datanglah firman TUHAN kepada Yeremia, bunyinya: 36:28 "Ambil pulalah gulungan lain, tuliskanlah di dalamnya segala perkataan yang semula ada di dalam gulungan yang pertama yang dibakar oleh Yoyakim, raja Yehuda.
