Neh 10:2-8 berdasarkan daftar-daftar yang tercantum dalam Neh 12:1-6,12-18: yang di sajikan ialah nama-nama keluarga, bukannya nama diri orang sebagaimana mestinya; Neh 10:9-13 memilih sejumlah nama orang Lewi yang hampir semua tercantum dalam ayat-ayat lain; Neh 10:14-20 memuat nama orang-orang awam yang dipungut dari daftar yang termaktub dalam Ezr 2 - Neh 7.
