Suatu kebangunan rohani akan segera padam jikalau tidak dilandasi secara kokoh pada Firman Allah dan suatu komitmen yang sungguh-sungguh untuk mengikuti ajaran-ajarannya. Hal ini berlaku di bawah perjanjian yang baru seperti di bawah perjanjian yang lama.
