All the law and the prophets depend ¹  on these two commandments.”

Someone who rejected the law of Moses was put to death ¹  without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. ² 

After this he appeared in a different form to two of them while they were on their way to the country.

For from now on ¹  there will be five in one household divided, three against two and two against three.

And I will grant my two witnesses authority ¹  to prophesy for 1,260 days, dressed in sackcloth.

Ruth ¹  knelt before him with her forehead to the ground ²  and said to him, “Why are you so kind ³  and so attentive to me, ⁴  even though ⁵  I am a foreigner?” ⁶ 

Then Jesus, while teaching in the temple courts, ¹  cried out, ²  “You both know me and know where I come from! ³  And I have not come on my own initiative, ⁴  but the one who sent me ⁵  is true. You do not know him, ⁶
